This course was the first offered by MMTI back in 1995 and is best suited for organizations that are starting their lean conversions. It goes beyond the philosophical overviews and simulation games provided by most introductory courses and provides tools for starting actual projects. It is sequenced to present first shop floor projects that can be undertaken immediately, and follow on with projects involving manufacturing support activities, that have prerequisites. The course is focused on technical content through most of the modules, and ends with a discussion of implementation strategy and methods.
