We present, we answer questions, we organize small-group exercises in the classroom, and we check out concepts on the shop floor, all for the purpose of helping our clients learn new ideas they can apply at work. Our courses grew from presentations given to project teams during consulting engagements and as a result cover a broad range of lean manufacturing topics at a sufficient level of detail to support implementation. They have been given over 50 times in the past 10 years, to the public through the following organizations:
In the US:
University of Dayton Center for Competitive Change, since 1999
UC Berkeley Extension, from 1995 to 1998
In Hong Kong, through Universal Training at:
Hong Kong Productivity Council, since 2001
Logistics Concepts Development Center, since 2004
Our courses have also been used in-house at the following companies:
Honda of America
Boeing
Canon-Virginia
Raytheon
Siemens and Siemens-VDO (Mexico)
Synthes (US and Switzerland)
Applied Materials
Crane Corporation
Raider Motors (China)
